About Teledris Health
What is Teledris Health?
Teledris Health is a direct-to-consumer telehealth service that connects you with licensed clinicians for evaluation, prescription, and ongoing care of weight-related health conditions. We are operated by KavrenTech, located at 7800 SW 87th Ave, Miami, FL 33155.
Who do you treat?
At launch, Teledris Health is for adults (18+) seeking evaluation for medically supervised weight management with GLP-1 medications. Other services are planned for the future.
What conditions do you treat?
Our launch focus is weight management. Our clinicians evaluate eligibility for compounded GLP-1 receptor agonist medications, including compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, when clinically appropriate. We do not treat acute or emergency conditions. We will expand to additional services over time.
Who delivers the care?
Care is delivered by U.S.-licensed clinicians employed by or contracted through our affiliated professional medical entity. Each clinician is licensed in the state where you reside.
Are you available everywhere in the U.S.?
We operate in a defined set of states. The current operating-states list is on our website. We can only deliver care to patients located in those states at the time of the visit. We do not provide care outside the United States.
Do you take insurance?
Teledris Health is cash-pay. We do not bill insurance. Some patients submit Teledris invoices to flexible spending or health savings accounts (FSA/HSA). We do not guarantee FSA/HSA reimbursement; check with your administrator.
How a Visit Works
How do I get started?
Create an account, complete the medical intake (typically 10 to 15 minutes), upload a recent photo and a government-issued ID, and submit your information. A clinician will review your intake and respond, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
Is the visit a video call?
Most visits begin asynchronously. You submit your information, and a clinician reviews and responds in writing through our secure platform. Some states or clinical situations require a synchronous live audio or video visit, which we will schedule with you.
What happens after the clinician reviews my intake?
Three possibilities:
- Prescription issued. The clinician approves treatment and sends a prescription to our partner pharmacy.
- More information needed. The clinician asks follow-up questions or requests labs.
- Care declined. The clinician determines that telehealth care is not appropriate for your situation and may refer you to in-person care.
You'll be notified of the outcome through your account and by email.
How long until I receive medication?
Typical end-to-end time from intake submission to delivery is 3 to 10 business days, depending on clinical review timing, prescription processing, pharmacy compounding, and shipping. Refills are usually faster.
Can I message my clinician between visits?
Yes. Secure messaging is included with your subscription. Response times vary; we are not a 24/7 service and the platform is not for emergencies. See Emergencies below.
What languages do you offer?
English and Spanish at launch. Patient-facing materials, support, and clinician interactions are available in both.
Medications
What is a "compounded" medication?
A compounded medication is prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy specifically for an individual patient based on a clinician's prescription. Compounded medications are not the same as branded medications and are not FDA-approved in the same way that branded products are. See our Medical Consent for full disclosures.
Is compounded semaglutide the same as Ozempic or Wegovy?
No. Compounded semaglutide is not Ozempic or Wegovy. Branded medications are FDA-approved products manufactured by Novo Nordisk under FDA oversight. Compounded semaglutide is prepared by a compounding pharmacy and is not subject to the same FDA approval pathway.
Is compounded tirzepatide the same as Mounjaro or Zepbound?
No. Compounded tirzepatide is not Mounjaro or Zepbound. Branded medications follow a different FDA approval and manufacturing path than compounded preparations.
Why is compounded medication available?
Compounded medications may be lawfully dispensed when clinically necessary for an individual patient and have historically been more widely used during periods when branded medications were on the FDA shortage list. Shortage status can change. We monitor FDA guidance and adjust accordingly.
Are these medications safe?
GLP-1 medications are powerful drugs with significant clinical effects, common side effects, and a boxed warning regarding thyroid C-cell tumors. Patients with certain conditions, such as a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, must not use these medications. Pregnancy is also a contraindication.
What about side effects?
The most common effects are gastrointestinal: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, indigestion, and decreased appetite. Most are mild to moderate and improve with time and dose adjustment. Severe or persistent symptoms should be reported to your clinician.
Will I have to inject myself?
GLP-1 medications are injected subcutaneously, typically once weekly, with a small needle. We provide instruction and your clinician can answer questions. If you are unable or unwilling to self-inject, this is not the right treatment for you.
Pricing, Subscriptions, and Refunds
How much does it cost?
Pricing is published on our website at the point of purchase. You will see total charges before you confirm any payment. We do not add fees that were not disclosed.
Is it a subscription?
Most patients are on a recurring subscription that aligns with their dosing schedule. You can pause or cancel from your account.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation is effective at the end of the then-current billing period. We do not prorate within a billing period. See the Refund Policy for full detail.
Do you offer refunds?
Refund eligibility differs for clinical work and medication. Once a clinician has begun review of your intake, the consultation portion is generally non-refundable. Once medication has been compounded and shipped, federal and state pharmacy law generally prohibits return-to-stock, so medication is also generally non-refundable after shipment.
Shipping and Delivery
Who ships my medication?
Our partner compounding pharmacy ships your medication directly to the address you provided.
How long does shipping take?
Typically 1 to 3 business days from dispatch within the continental U.S., and 3 to 7 business days for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. End-to-end intake to delivery time is usually 3 to 10 business days.
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
No. We require a physical address with a person available to receive and refrigerate the package promptly.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
No. We ship only to U.S. states where Teledris Health is licensed.
Will I need to sign for the package?
Most shipments do not require a signature by default. You can request signature-required delivery before your next shipment. See the Shipping Policy for cold-chain details.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
Contact support@teledrishealth.com. For lost packages, contact us within 7 days of expected delivery. For damaged packages, photograph the outer packaging before opening internal packaging. We will work with the pharmacy and carrier and, in most cases, ship a replacement at no additional cost.
Privacy and Data
Is my information private?
Yes. We are a HIPAA-regulated service. Your medical information is protected under HIPAA. Other information you provide, such as account, billing, and marketing information, is governed by our Privacy Policy and, for California residents, the California Privacy Statement.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal information. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update our Privacy Policy and provide opt-out rights as required by law.
How do I see what information you have about me?
You have rights under HIPAA and, depending on your state, additional rights under state privacy laws. See the Notice of Privacy Practices for HIPAA rights and the California Privacy Statement for CCPA rights.
Who is your Privacy Officer?
Our Privacy Officer is reachable at privacy@teledrishealth.com or by mail at the address above, attention: Privacy Officer.
Emergencies and Safety
Can I use Teledris in an emergency?
No. Teledris Health is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
If you are in mental-health crisis, contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
When should I stop the medication and contact a clinician?
Read the Medical Consent for the full list. Severe abdominal pain, severe right-upper-quadrant pain or jaundice, neck mass or persistent hoarseness, signs of severe allergic reaction, signs of dehydration, and new or worsening depression all require prompt attention. For any severe symptom, seek emergency care first and contact us afterward.
Account, Communication, and Support
How do I update my address or contact info?
Through your account dashboard. For an in-progress shipment, contact support@teledrishealth.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes after dispatch.
How do I move to a different state?
Update your address and contact us. We will check whether Teledris Health is licensed in your new state, transfer your prescription if needed, and route your future care to a clinician licensed in that state. We may pause shipments while logistics are confirmed.
